As shown in the following pictures, the coastal Chilean city of Pichilemu was covered with snow on June 6, 2014.
This white storm was even qualified as an anomaly by weather specialists. This region indeed sits directly in front of the Pacific Ocean experiences a Mediterranean climate (temperature almost never descending below 5 °C). This snow is the result of a really bad weather affecting the central part of Chile nowadays as reported by El Nacion.
