Within the last ten days of June, an increase of meteor and meteor sightings have been reported around the world!
Since I love meteor desintegrations but I haven’t witnessed one in a long time, you will find in this post a compilation of three videos of the latest celestial events.
1. Green fireball in Devon (UK) – June 30 2014
As reported by BBC, a large green fireball crossed the sky over the West Country, Wales and the West Midlands at 03:04 BST and was caught on camera by an observatory in Devon.
2. Huge Fireball explodes over Melbourne (Florida) – June 27 2014
The Sky Sentinel network caught a bright meteor falling out of the clouds over Melbourne, Florida, USA on June 27 2014 at 2:15 AM.
3. Large meteor explosion over Brasília (Brazil) – June 27 2014
According to the video, this meteor passing by over Brasilia was caught on June 27 2014 at 5:54 AM by Carlos Bella.
Meteor desintegrates over Toledo (Spain) – June 22 2014
Prior to these three ones, a fireball has been sighted in the sky over Toledo on June 22 2014. There are however no pictures of this spectacular event. This picture of a California fireball give you an idea of what it was!
