Meteor Photo: Watch this amazing fireball striking over Minnesota.
These two couples were out looking for Northern Lights. They didn’t have chance. But their consolation prize was gorgeous! They both shot the same fireball from different views! Amazing!
Redditor Ustbro was kind of disappointed on September 12, 2014. Aurora Borealis didn’t make it to Minnesota. But at 11:32 pm, he shot this wonderful image of a fireball flying through the night sky over Lake Martin:
At the same time, but taken at Green Lake in Chisago, Minnesota (this is only about 13 miles east of Martin Lake), a couple photographed the same bright meteor. Look at the reflection in the water. It’s eerie:
Of course, it’s only on Reddit that both pictures of the same light phenomenon could be linked together.
Yes, They posted a great meteor photo and a commenter responded with an equally awesome picture of the same ball of fire! So cool!
