A real sinkhole apocalypse is underway in Brazil!
After heavy storms, roads, shops and houses are being swallowed by giant sinkholes in Santos and San Vicente, and probably in other cities around.
In San Vicente, a giant crater swallowed parts of the road, the sidewalk, electricity poles and surrounding buildings. Pedestrians are not allowed on site. You should better use your car!
In Santos, residents had to to improvise and cover sinkholes with dumpsters or any other objects to prevent accidents.
At different road intersections, the asphalt gave in and large crater opened up. Warning signs have been placed to warn drivers. To stabilize these sinkkholes, earth has been dumped in.
Heavy rains are responsible for this terrifying sinkhole situation in Brazil.
