Two days ago, on January 21, 2015, one of Central America’s most dangerous volcanoes erupted blowing a huge ash column into the sky.
The strong vulcanian-type explosion of Mexico’s Colima volcano was recorded by a webcam focused on the active stratovolcano.
And what a blast! The ash column measured more than 4 km above the summit, and some volcanic rose up to 29,000 ft (9 km). Just incredible!
