The crooked forest in Poland is out of this world!
This strange an eerie woodland is shrouded in mystery. But why have do these trees have this form?
In a small corner of western Poland, there is a strange and eerie woodland called the Crooked Forest.
This weird woodland consists of around 400 pine trees that grow with a 90-degree bend at their base, and most of them northward.
The trees were planted in the 1930s and that they were around 7-10 years old when they experienced whatever force/damage that resulted in trunk curvature.
So what could have caused these trees to grow in this bizarre “J” shape? The weather? War? Aliens?
Some hypothesis are:
- Fluctuations in gravitational forces or a unique gravitational pull in the area.
- Heavy snow that flattened the trees for an extended period of time whilst they were still saplings.
- Enemy tanks during WWII.
- Curves are man-made.
This would make sense given the fact that the trees in the crooked forest are very consistent. But, no one can be certain of what caused the curvature of these trees. But maybe aliens themselves!
