She thought she had a large tumour growing in her stomach.
The doctors told the 91-year-old woman it was actually a calcified fetus inside her womb.
Estela Melendez had been carrying the child for at least 60 years, without knowing she was pregnant.
She and her husband Manuel Gonzalez were unable to have children together.
