This car was swallowed by a giant sinkhole amid downpours in Sicily.
The car plunged five metres through the eight-metre wide hole on a road in Valverde, in the province of Catania on October 21, 2015.
The driver could miraculously escape as the hole in the ground formed just after sha had parked the car.
The car was taken out of the cavity by using a large crane as shown in the video below:
Heavy rain has swept across Sicily over the past couple of days and are expected to continue today.
