Hail at least the size of a baseball fell in parts of Minnesota on June 19, 2016.
Several severe thunderstorm moved east packing high winds and large hail. A tornado touchdown was confirmed eight miles north of Staples.
3″ hail fell in Nisswa while Pequot Lakes had 2.5″ hail. Hail smaller in size fell in areas nearby.
There are minimal reports of storm damage.
