BBQ grill fire

My neighbor, game warden were using BBQ grill on his deck under the roof. When we pass in front of his wooden cabin, there was a big fire (about 2 feet high), and nobody was attending the BBQ grill. The game warden was lucky! His house did not catch fire like this building. He told me “I don’t eat bread”. Does he eat mainly meat? I guess most of people in the US eat meat everyday, and eat little veggies and carbohydrate. As a vegetarian, it is amazing they are still living without serious sickness.
