Torrential rains wreaked havoc in parts of Nigeria on September 17, 2019.
The Ayetoro community in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State was ravaged by deadly floods, which destroyed at least 700 houses, leaving more than 500 people homeless.
According to one of the affected residents everything in the small town was affected, from church to palace and health center to schools.
Moreover, all socio-economic activities of the community had been paralyzed as most are fishermen and boats had been destroyed.
According to another resident, flooding has become a recurring issue in the community, but the government doesn’t care at all.
They really need help from their government before the floods wash the community away. Source
This is Pathetic. My condolences
