The longest prehistoric human trail ever discovered is 1.5 kilometers long, found in New Mexico, more precisely in White Sands National Park.
The 427 human footprints belong to a young adult and a toddler, likely a mother and child.
She was in a hurry and sometimes carried the child on her back, most probably because of the plenty of starving predators in the area during the late ice age.
