A huge sinkhole has opened up at South Osborne Road and Crain Highway in the area of Upper Marlboro, Maryland after a water main break.
Now, an entire car is submerged inside the hole after the driver of the Cadillac went around signs that WSSC had posted after responding to a pipe burst.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
Meanwhile, WSSC crews are still on the scene working to completely shut off the water.
Once that happens they will figure out how to get the car out of the hole, which may have to be drained first.
The car was removed from the sinkhole around 4:30 p.m.

Well, God taught him a lesson —don’t you think. He disobeyed the warnings, disregarded his safety, and that of the work crews.
If there are city costs for vehicle extraction and impounding, then he will get one h3ll of a bill too.
He probably doesn’t have a St. Christopher medallion either.
