Stargazers in China were taken aback after spotting what appeared to be seven suns as seen in a recent viral video.
In the mind-bending footage, which was shot earlier this month by a woman in a Chengdu hospital, the solar septet graces the sky like the view on some bizarro planet.
The seven suns are lined up next to each other and boast varying intensities.
The videographer, identified as Ms. Wang, said that viewers were transfixed by the trippy vista, which lasted around a minute and was visible from multiple angles, Jam Press reported.
However, this meteorological anomaly is actually an optical illusion caused by light refracting through a certain medium — in this case, the layered glass of a hospital window.
The seven suns are virtual images created by each pane.
Social media users offered their own outlandish theories on what caused the flaming stars to align.
“We’ve finally uncovered the truth about global warming,” quipped one amateur astronomer on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.
“This happened because of a magnetic field glitch that made parallel universes visibly manifest,” joked another space cadet. “The Cosmic Bureau has fixed the issue, and those responsible have been reprimanded.”
The heliospheric heptathlon also blew up on Reddit, where users compared the phenomenon to the Chinese myth where cosmic archer Hou Yi shoots down nine of Earth’s 10 suns to stop the planet from burning up.
“When Earth has astigmatism,” joked another Redditor.
“So is this a system apocalypse or just a normal apocalypse due to horrible air conditions?” asked one commentor, alluding to China’s rampant pollution issues.

This was either an optical illusion or a faked, AI produced clip but either way it is being used to explain the uptick in sightings across the world of TWO SUNS to discredit EVERY sighting as an optical illusion. Many people recently are seeing “another sun” often near the sun but sometimes on the other side of the horizon. It’s becoming more and more common as the end days move toward THE day of Jesus Christ or the Rapture of the church.
Not much information about this exists in Scripture except that we are to “lift up our heads” and look up to see the signs of His coming. There are accounts similar to these phenomenon found in the apocryphal books of the Gnostics but these are not generally accepted by the modern born again, Bible believing Christians (although many who call themselves Christian include these books as inspired writings equal with the 66 books of the King James Bible, we do not)
Whether these appearances are that of the much maligned “Nibiru” or “Planet X”, which ideas were popularized by Zechariah Sitchen in the early 2000s doesn’t really matter at this stage. I believe the first sightings of these “second suns” was to get the attention of those who are looking for Jesus Christ, who “love His Appearing” (2 Timothy 4:8) and to herald His coming in the clouds to call us up to Himself.
In my lifetime, I had never heard or seen anything like this until recently, that is, the last 20 years. This, along with fulfilled Bible prophecy and that which is presently INDICATING the fulfillment of prophecy confirms my belief that this age is quickly coming to a close. This was the event which got my attention and caused me to move into the next phase of the end times which we are now at – the end days of the end times or the very last days of the Age of Grace where Salvation by the Shed Blood of Jesus Christ is totally FREE.
When this age ends and the Rapture removes all who are indwelt by the Holy Ghost, Salvation will still be available but one will have to WORK for it. They must RESIST the antichrist and his mark (the mark of the beast) even willingly laying their heads down upon the guillotine rather than take his mark. Now THAT is WORK! (although I think those who do offer their heads will be so comforted by the Holy Spirit that they won’t feel the fear or even the moment their heads are removed from their bodies.
I’m so THANKFUL that I was able to make the choice to accept His Atonement at the Cross of Calvary as the TRUTH and ONLY way for my own Salvation, after which my entire life began to be centered around getting others to SEEK to know the Truth which has been held under a panoply of lies for hundreds of years.
These efforts have increased greatly in the last 5 years which have also included my publishing a book which uses the BIGGEST lie – that of the lie of evolution and Darwinism – as a starting point demonstrating how our history and origins have been hijacked and God has been relegated to the bin of fairy tales and folklore.
