Mysterious light in the sky of Chile baffles residents of Antofagasta in the Atacama desert

What are these mysterious lights in the sky flying over Antofagasta in the Atacama desert, Chile?

These glowing orbs were filmed by baffled residents on January 15, 2015.

Fireball? Alien spaceship? Space junk?

Look below a few pictures of this strange sky phenomenon:

Coming back to the video, these weird objects travel too slowly to be any kind of meteors or fireballs.

It looks like the glowing object is disintegrating.

So if it is not a space rock… Could these lights be alien spaceships invading Earth? I doubt… They are not enough 🙂

Are these lights Aliens trying to reach the Earth’s surface?

So it leaves us with the most probable source of this weird sky phenomenon: A space object re-entry. This turns out to be right as aerospace.org predicted that parts of a Chinese satellite would re-enter our Earth’s atmosphere on January 15, 2016.
