Significant disruption was caused this morning by a bag containing a laptop and cables left near Mercure Manchester Piccadilly hotel in downtown Manchester City today at around 7.35am. You probably want to know why! Well people thought that the content of the bag was a bomb. Well, this rumor started a massive security alert during which bomb disposal experts were called to carry out a controlled explosion. Of course, no explosive device was found after check.
