People in central Illinois are reporting a giant boom that shook a whole apartment complex about three hours ago on May 23, 2014. Some have seen flashes (green and orange) in the sky other nothingIn parallel, at least three mystery booms were heard and shook houses and windows in southern Louisiana. Some in the same thread reports booms in Virginia and Pennsylvania, where 3 flash of lights were observed striking through the sky.

These mystery booms and this intense sky activity is most probably related to the first ever Camelopardalid meteor shower TONIGHT!

  1. Unidentified Strange Noises or USNs.
    So what do you think is causing some of these Unidentified
    Strange Noises? Let us know if you heard a USN! My current hypothesis is that some of these sounds specifically the mysterious booms & Roaring sounds could be caused by invisible UFO’s for psychological reasons and some from increase in meteor bolides. There are a lot of fake videos as well but I try filter out those with my best judgment
