The coastal city of Cleveleys in Lancashire has been blanketed by sea foam today, August 12 2014.
This strange phenomenon was caused by the month’s highest tides and violent winds (50mph) forming huge waves that crash on the English shore.

This is not snow that you are looking at! It’s foam, gallons of foam produced large waves. But I agree, it is as if the small town of Cleveleys was experiencing a snow storm!
It comes as Met Office forecasters predict an unsettled week of sunshine and showers.
Without the remnants of Hurricane Bertha, scattered wind, rain and floods hitting the country, I guess there would be kids having a big party in these gallons of white natural foam!
