What is this mystery glowing light crossing a line of auroras in the sky of Finland?
To me, that really looks like an alien spaceship… But let’s try to really get into this weird sky event.
I’d like to tell you this is an alien spaceship visiting Earth…
But, sorry to disappoint you guys… This video is actually an unexpected shot of Sentinel-3A on its way into orbit amidst the flickering green of the northern lights just 6 minutes after launch.
The video shot from Karigasniemi in northern Finland shows Sentinel-3A’s rocket and the jettisoned second stage of the rocket following behind.
Sentinel-3A, a satellite to measure Earth’s oceans, land, ice and atmosphere for Europe’s Copernicus programme – was launched from Plesetsk, Russia on 16 February 2016 at 17:57 GMT.
Hey, please don’t play with me… What was this mysterious light in the sky? 🙂
This was from the rocket launch of the Sentinel 3 as it says in the description of the video.
“This video captures a surprising view of Sentinel-3A on its way into orbit amidst the flickering green of the northern lights. The footage, which was taken from Karigasniemi in northern Finland, shows Sentinel-3A’s rocket and either what could be the jettisoned first or second stage of the rocket following behind. Sentinel-3A was launched from Plesetsk in Russia 1000 km away at 17:57 GMT (18:57 CET) on 16 February 2016.”
Thank you. Is also explained in the post.
