Look at this mysterious blowhole!
Each time a guy throws trash inside the hole, it erupts sending sand hundreds feet in the air!
What the heck is going on here? Is there something hidden in the pit? It appears that this blowhole suddenly formed in the middle of the desert in Saudi Arabia (exact location unknown) and started shooting sand hundreds of feet in the air, when someone throws trash inside!
Although they tried to fill the desert volcano with a digger, the sand is almost immediately thrown back into the air, along with other pieces of debris.
A blowhole is a small opening in the ground through which air will blow out or suck in. It’s a kind of natural fan or vacuum.
The operation of blowholes is tied to weather. Air temperature and pressure are the elements that interact to drive this phenomenon.
