Ukrainian health authorities have started to distribute Potassium Iodide (KI) tablets to citizens living in the close proximity of the Zaporozhye NPP in case of radiation release.
In total, it is planned to distribute about 25,000 potassium iodide tablets, Energodar Mayor Dmitry Orlov said.

According to the National Security Defense Council of Ukraine, the following will be implemented:
? If there is a chemical hazard – the Church bells will ring.
? If there is a radiation hazard signal – Alarms will be sounded.
? If a city need to be evacuated there will be a signal/Alram that will ring, it will sound like a train horn.
If any of the 3 warning systems mentioned above are activated citizens should turn on the local radio or television and wait for further information.
Also in the event of an Alert, a long continuous siren will sound for at least 30 seconds.

Countries include Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova & Eastern Parts of Germany.

The author of this article offers zero supporting evidence for these claims.
The importance of empirical and or irrefutable evidence is overlooked far to much. What value do accusations hold if the people who have the capability to offer assistance consider them nothing but baseless speculations?.
Any emission from Zaporozhye would contaminate hundreds of miles around the station for the next 500 years and both Europe AND Russia would be seriously effected.
This article mentions a radation leak, not a reactor emission.
There are substantial differences between the two.
On top of that shelling a reactor building with artillery wouldn’t do much unless shells designed to penetrate bunker type structures were used.
And even then a catastrophic emission,like the one at chernobyl would not occur unless the reactor was running at high capacity. Non of the NPP’S in Ukraine have been operated at high capacity since the Russian invasion. Atleast that is what were told.
Radioactive material from chernobyl affected the entire world because the explosion was inside the reactor, not outside.
