Long Beach and the northern Orange County area have experienced a loud and mystery boom and rumbling on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. It is now clear that they were triggered by Navy tests about 50 miles off the coast.
The US Navy confessed being the cause of the mystery boom and rumblings heard and felt around Long Beach and northern Orange County as a jet flew faster than the speed of sound.
