There are several videos on Youtube featuring the explosion of Nasa’s Antares rocket explosion. I think this one is the most impressive and… loud.

Yes these people have to run and jump on the nearest shuttle bus to safety. due to the the highly toxic fumes coming from the rocket that are spreading in the air. You clearly see in the video this huge black toxic cloud heading to them and firey debris flying hundreds of feet in the air like raining napalm.
Really scary!
