Neighbors of Fort Bragg can expect some window-rattling booms through the rest of the month.
At least they published a loud noise advisory this time!

Marines from Camp Lejeune will be on post from Sunday through Oct. 30 for their biannual artillery training.
The 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division will fire “significant amounts of 155 mm ammunition, which can be associated with loud explosions and reverberation upon detonation.” This year’s training will coincide with another event that may be heard by those near Fort Bragg. The 82nd Airborne Division’s 18th Fires Brigade will host the Best of the Best competition Oct. 20 to 24. That event will pit all of the 82nd Airborne’s artillery units against one another in a friendly competition. Winners will be announced Oct. 25 at the brigade’s annual Molly Pitcher Day event.
There are no restrictions on what times the Marines can fire, but there are some limits on the number of artillery pieces that can fire at the same time. THIS MEAN IT WILL HAPPEN ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT LONG! I HOPE YOU HAVE SOME EARPLUGS!
