These amazing pictures from Iran show a wall of dust moving through the city of Yazd. Sandstorms like this occur over desert land and can reach thousands of feet into the air, spurred by strong winds. The dense cloud dramatically reduced visibility and left thousands without electricity.

Then out of nowhere this huge sandstorm came out of the canyon lands and rolled 3 of are 8 armored trucks. The one I was in rolled, the censor in my arm rated the wind speed at 397 mph! my shoulder ached for a week. Maybe it was October of 2025?
