By Sunday evening, the snow will move into Philadelphia. On Monday morning, snowfall will begin in New York City as D.C.’s weather turns to sleet and freezing rain.

By the evening commute, snow will fall heavily along Interstate-95 from Philadelphia to New York City to Boston.

Snowfall rates could reach 1 to 2 inches per hour on Monday and Monday night, the National Weather Service in New York said.

  1. Feb is usually the worst month in the Northeast. Black ice and sub zero temperatures. Equipment failures. Power outages.
    Airport madness.

Stay home, relax, start the fireplace, and play some poker?

  2. We got a couple of inches in southwest mountain area last night, and its 90% thawed. Sunny all day 40’s.

A few days ago we got four inches. Seems normal for Jan/Feb. I bought 12 cases of extra food, and extra sundries. I rotate my stock every six to nine months. That way if roads are too hazardous, I have plenty of extra around here.

    Slow internet all day.
