These bizarre but dazzling lenticular clouds wowed Houston, Texas on May 27, 2016 at sunset.
They suddenly appeared as extreme storms move out of the region.
As Friday’s severe weather moved out of the Houston area, it left in its wake a series of stunning clouds painted with vivid colors against the setting sun.
The spaceship-shaped formations are lenticular clouds, a variety not often seen in southeast Texas.
