Deadly storms have slammed into the Australian coastline bringing giant waves, cyclone-strength winds and torrential rain, killing three people.
The weather saw waves of up to five metres pounding much of the east coast, including Sydney, where a storm at Collaroy lashed a swimming pool so hard it fell into the sea.
Two bodies were found in cars washed away in flood waters while a man was swept off the rocks south of Sydney’s surfing beach of Bondi.
The New South Wales emergency servicesreceived more than 9,250 calls and conducted 280 flood rescues.
And this is probably only the beginning!
Insurance claims are expected to rise over the coming days.
This areal view shows that the storm was so strong at Collaroy that even a swimming pool collapsed.
This timelapse of last 48hrs at Collaroy just shows you how insane was the tide:

The soil below front-water properties has been completely eroded by the giant waves.
Nothing resists a stormy ocean!
Not even millionnaires’ palaces.
There is no doubt, water-front properties will soon be swallowed by the sea.
