What are these strange rotating clouds, which passed by during over four hours in the sky of Curicó and Maule, Chile?
These impressive cloud formations are dense in the middle with a more effusive part rotating around like the arms of a spiral galaxy.
According to Twitterer Arquitectura Curicó, these mysterious clouds passed by rotating above his hometown Curico, Chile during at least 4 hours. Others reported them over Maule as well.
If you look at the satellite image, you quite understand and see a long band of rounded clouds travelling from west to east (from ocean towards inland).
And did you observe the formation in the bottom left of the image?
That’s a really weird cloud! And when they pass in front of the sun, then its light allows us to catch the rotating effect.
