Blood Red Water After Dye Factory Spills Industrial Waste in China

And it has happened again in China. Red Water and soil after an old dye factory spilled its waste in Henan, China.

And the heavy downpour falling on this region is not helping!

In this first picture, a man points to water and soil which turned red after being contaminated by industrial waste from a closed dye factory, amid heavy rainfall at a mountain in Ruyang county, Henan province, China September 15, 2014.

Well this is not the first case of dye pollution in China or around the world.

But sometimes, it’s easier to find the cause. In our present case, the second picture presents one of the leaks. These plastic sheets are covering industrial waste from a closed dye factory in Ruyang county, Henan province:

We do not know yet the environmental consequences of this spill! But I would have put more than plastic to cover this red waste!
