WAPAKONETA — The Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of recent reports of massive explosions in the area, caused by exploding rifle targets from the mixture Tannerite which can be legally purchased at shooting supply stores. Tannerite, when shot with a certain caliber can explode. A new game seems to be mixing large amounts to make a huge explosion. Residents heard and felt their windows rattle.
